While other photographers might stick you in the studio or only offer “available light” portraits. We take it a step further by taking the studio out into the field indoors or out and not rely only on available light to make your photos sing.

Someone might tell you that schooling trumps all, but any time a photographer tells you something, just look to their images. What is claimed is less important than what their images tell you.
We have made hundreds of thousands of images, done layout and design for decades, look to creative resources for new ideas daily and look for new ways of doing things and never get complacent. This keeps us creative image makers and envelope pushers. We humbly enjoy the process and love what we do and we are only as good as our last job.
Planning
Well that is enough of that. Since you are still reading, now let’s plan some fun! With every session being unique, we meet with you to find out what the approach is and set some goals. You might have some specific ideas or you might not have any at all. No problem, as we can put a plan together for you either way. The plan gives us direction but we are flexible to take into account other opportunities as well as ideas and schedules that come up along the way.
Where We Go
Sessions can be in your back yard, a great location indoors or out across town or in another state. We will travel as close as we need or as far as you want. Our only real limits are the ideas we come up with and the time we invest making them happen. We can go just about any time of day or night, to just about anywhere.
Sessions
One session or many, one location or many, one outfit or many. Sessions are relaxing, fun and moving. Often we start with comfortable shots and then push the creative envelope as we get deeper into the session. Sessions can happen back-to-back or many months apart. Very common to book a session right away to get the yearbook photo done and then book other sessions up until graduation. We can wrap up everything in one session for you, or plan out multiple events. Choose your locations or have us help with our thousands of ideas. Either way it will be a fun journey.
Lighting
We plan every session to maximize our opportunity for great light. That could be anything from sunlight, open sky to the lighting equipment we bring on location and often a mix of all of the above.
Guarantee
If anyone is ever dissatisfied with the process or the results, you can have another session at no cost to you or a full refund. Some studios say they give refunds, but we actually live by these standards.

Where did the name come from?
One of my clients used to tell me “you are like the best kept secret in the valley” and the name stuck.
Delivery Schedule
Some studios batch seniors out at certain times of the year. We output your teasers tomorrow to Facebook and by next week for proofs. We fit your schedule and output great work as rapidly as possible based on the ideas we come up with for seasons and locations.
